Requesting a Callout

How to describe a problem and get routed to the right category and urgency automatically.

What this covers

The "Request a callout" form on every provider's profile page.

Why it's built this way

Most people don't know the exact trade name for what they need — "my geyser is leaking" matters more than knowing whether that's a plumbing or a specialist geyser job. Describe the problem in plain language and an AI concierge reads it and suggests the likely category and urgency (LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH/EMERGENCY) as you type, so you and the business both start with the same context.

When to use it instead of booking directly

Use a callout request when you're not sure exactly what service you need, or the business hasn't connected real-time booking yet. If a business has a "Book a real appointment" button, that's a faster path when you already know exactly what you want and when.

How it works

  1. Open a verified provider's profile and fill in the description field.
  2. A moment after you stop typing, a suggested category and urgency appear — this doesn't change what gets sent, it's just a hint.
  3. Add your contact details and send. The business sees your request in their inbox and can mark it Seen, Quoted, Scheduled, or Completed.
  4. Track the status from My requests in your account.
